World Earth Day at Our School 🌍🌱

Every year on April 22nd, the world comes together to celebrate World Earth Day—a day dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection and inspiring actions to safeguard our planet. This year, our school proudly joined the global movement with a vibrant and meaningful celebration that brought students, teachers, and staff together for a common cause: caring for the Earth.

🌿 Activities That Made a Difference

One of the highlights of the day was a tree-planting drive in the school garden. Students from different classes planted saplings, each one symbolizing hope for a greener future. They also took pledges to nurture these plants and act as guardians of nature.

🌞International Yoga Day at Our School

On June 21st, our school joyfully celebrated International Yoga Day, highlighting the importance of a healthy mind and body through the ancient practice of yoga. The theme for this year, “Yoga for Wellness,” was beautifully reflected in all the activities conducted throughout the day.

The celebration began early in the morning with a mass yoga session on the school Assembly hall. Students, teachers, and staff participated enthusiastically, performing various asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation under the guidance of a trained yoga instructor. The peaceful atmosphere and calm energy set a perfect tone for the day.

Following the session, a short presentation on the benefits of yoga was shared by senior students, explaining how yoga helps improve concentration, reduces stress, and promotes overall well-being.

The day ended with a pledge to make yoga a regular part of our lives, not just for physical fitness but also for inner peace and harmony.

Celebrating International Yoga Day in school was a refreshing and enriching experience for everyone. It reminded us that true health begins with balance—of the body, mind, and soul.
